I'm pround of Frankie, Bee and Angie for running in the 2008 Race for the Cure. Angie and the girls ran for two dear friends, Jhumki and Paula, who are fighting metastatic breast cancer. First, Frankie recovered from an experiment with Spider Man band-aids to run in the 100 yd dash.
Then, Bee ran her first mile in 13:22. She did great and is ready to start training for the Michigan mile in May. Watch out Eric!
Then Angie ran strong in the wind and finished the 5K in 21:21, a personal best, and came in first in her age group and seventh overall. We're proud of you!
